Rising stars sought in 2016 YoungPro Award

Basel, 8 February 2016 – Straumann and botiss biomaterials are pleased to announce the opening of the 2016 Young Pro Award competition. Following the success of the inaugural event in 2015, the two sponsors have decided to run the competition again this year in order to synchronize the award with the main ‘bone and tissue days event’ in Berlin.

The award aims to foster and encourage the development of young dental professionals in the field of regenerative dentistry and dental biomaterials research.

Dental practitioners, students, researchers, etc., under the age of 35 may compete for the prize by submitting original work that contributes to the advancement of treatment/care or research in regenerative dentistry. Dissertations, projects or practical work experience may form the basis of the submission. The entries will again be adjudicated by a distinguished panel of experts in the field.

The 2016 award will be presented in Berlin, during the bone and tissue days conference, 9–10 September. It carries a cash prize of 10 000 euros and travel to the event. The successful submission will be subsequently published in Starget.
