Straumann Group Foundation Visits Dentaid Head Office to Mark New Partnership Supporting Oral Health

Totton, UK – Tuesday 21st April 2026.

Straumann Group Foundation today visited the Dentaid head office to formally mark the beginning of a new partnership between the two organisations, reinforcing a shared commitment to improving access to dental care and promoting oral health.

The visit brought together representatives from The Straumann Group Foundation and Dentaid to discuss the aims of the partnership and explore how the collaboration will support Dentaid’s work providing dental care and oral health education to vulnerable communities across the UK.

During the visit, the team were introduced to Dentaid’s programmes, including their new solar powered mobile dental unit which has transformed the important outreach programmes, also gaining insight into how the partnership will help expand the charity’s impact.

“Partnering with Dentaid reflects Straumann’s commitment to supporting meaningful initiatives that improve oral health and make a real difference to people’s lives,” said Rainer Schlegel, Director at Straumann Group Foundation. “Visiting the Dentaid head office allowed us to see first‑hand the vital work they do and how, together, we can support their mission.”

Dentaid welcomed the partnership as an opportunity to strengthen its ability to deliver care and education to those most in need.

We are delighted to be working with Straumann. Their support will help us further our reach and continue delivering essential dental services and oral health education to vulnerable communities.

The partnership will focus on providing dental care for female victims and survivors of domestic abuse, as well as people experiencing homelessness, poverty and other vulnerabilities, through the deployment of the additional mobile dental units that have now been added to the fleet, with both organisations committed to building a long‑term, positive collaboration.
